BLIND RIVET

A rivet, in its simplest definition, is a fastener that joins two parts in such a way that they cannot be loosened, one side is attached to the surface by swelling and the other side is open. These fasteners are parts that are required to remain fixed in the place where the assembly is made. They can only be removed from their places by deforming. In addition to joining two materials, they are also used for sealing in some applications. It is mounted by passing into the pre-prepared hole. Since it is a suitable fastener for serial use, it reduces costs by reducing production time. It does not require additional skills as it is easily applied. Rivets, which have a high number of alternative types according to their material, the sheet they are used on, and their tensile-rupture forces, are used in many different joining applications in many industries. It is possible to see rivet applications in many products we use in our daily lives. The white goods we use in our homes, the land, sea, air, railway vehicles we travel, air conditioning equipment, lighting, the aisles in the markets where we shop, transformers that distribute electricity, billboards, multiple billboards used outdoors are among the first examples that come to mind.
